Phibo acquires Compartis
13 January 2016. As part of its strategic plan and continuing with its international expansion, Phibo has acquired Compartis, Business Unit from DeguDent. This major acquisition enables the Spanish multinational Phibo to position itself as the clear leader in CAD-CAM production in both the German and international markets.
This is undoubtedly great news for the Spanish dental sector and demonstrates the high quality of Phibo products, as recognised by foreign competitors.
DeguDent considers Phibo to be the best option in order to continue offering quality products to Compartis customers. This is thanks to its excellent work and innovative solutions.
DENTSPLY Prosthetics Vice President and DeguDent GmbH Director in Hanau Tom Leonardi said, “We are pleased to have found in Phibo a competent partner for our Compartis production service. Phibo has a wide range of experience in the digital field and in particular in production technologies, which spans more than two decades. This ensures that our customers can benefit from both the extensive experience of Phibo and the high quality of our materials. That is what makes Phibo the strong partner we sought for our Compartis customers”.
Meanwhile, Phibo CAD/CAM Deutschland GmbH Director and former Vice President of DENTSPLY Prosthetics International Stefan Klomann stated that, “With Compartis we are diversifying our business activities in the best way from Spain to Germany”.
With this new challenge, Phibo becomes the indisputable leader in CAD-CAM with a strong presence in Germany, leaving its position very clear to the competition.
